In this presentation, guest speaker, Dan Levitt, will take a closer look at the opportunities that come with rethinking how older adults experience the aging journey in acute care and long term care. The audience will explore the impact of transforming the dining experience to meet the changing expectations of the current generation of older adults and the next aging wave of baby boomers to make these longer lives enriching and fulfilling. This interactive talk lays out a framework for doing that and inspires the audience with recent examples of age care reimagined in Canada and around the world. Participants will leave the session with key takeaways, it’s not about aging, but adding a quality service to people living in care, serving up quality living – creating a bold new path offering best-in-class dining.
